Our Mission

Rooted in Purpose, Growing in Grace

Rooted in Blessings was founded on the belief that every individual, regardless of ability, background, or circumstance, deserves access to compassionate, high-quality behavioral and wellness support.

We serve individuals and families around the DFW area & beyond building relationships that are grounded in trust, love, and a deep commitment to each person's flourishing. Our name reflects our values: we believe every life is a blessing, and that true support means helping people grow deep roots so they can bloom fully.

As a behavioral trainer, advocate, wellness partner, and above all, we are neighbors who care.

What Guides Us

This organization is dedicated to Ron Kinkopf, whose life has been the ultimate blueprint for everything we do at Rooted in Blessings.

Ron lived with a pure, uncomplicated joy and a profound resilience that redefined what it means to be truly "blessed." Having Down Syndrome didn't limit his impact; it amplified his ability to see the world through a lens of kindness and unwavering authenticity. He taught us that growth isn't just about reaching higher, but about staying grounded in love and finding beauty in every unique perspective. Every service we provide and every connection we make is infused with his spirit, reminding us to lead with a servant’s heart and to ensure that everyone, regardless of their path, feels seen, valued, and deeply rooted.

Rooted in Community

We are deeply invested in the DFW and surrounding communities. We grow together.

Dignity First

Every person deserves to be treated with unconditional respect, compassion, and honor — always.

Whole-Person Care

We see the full human being, not just a diagnosis or a challenge, and serve accordingly.

True Partnership

We walk alongside families and individuals as trusted partners, not distant providers.

Meet the Founder

Lori Talty, M.A.S.E

As the founder of Rooted in Blessings, I bring over 12 years of dedicated experience in special education and behavioral health to the forefront of student advocacy. My career has been defined by a deep passion for supporting children of all ages and abilities, ensuring that both students and the staff who serve them have the tools necessary for success.

Having served most of my career within Special Education from PK-12th grade, I have a comprehensive understanding of the complexities within the classroom, campus, and district level. My academic journey, includes a Master’s in Special Education with a focus on Autism & Low Incidence disabilities, along with currently pursuing a second Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. These educational journeys allows me to bridge the gap between educational instruction and behavioral wellness.

As an educator who has navigated the complexities of Dyslexia firsthand, I understand that learning is never one-size-fits-all and that a diagnosis does not define a student’s potential. This personal journey, combined with the experience of raising a child with special needs, has fueled my unwavering commitment to the field of Special Education. These challenges have transformed into my greatest strengths, providing me with a unique empathetic lens as a parent & educator.

I founded this organization to provide dependable, flexible, and organized support for individuals and families. My mission is to utilize my expertise to create inclusive environments where every child, regardless of their disability, can thrive.
